Our estates from Veneto to Friuli Venezia Giulia
Our 115 hectares of vineyards, among which 80 ha are located in the Eastern Veneto region, 15 ha in Friuli Venezia Giulia and 15 ha on sunny hills of Valdobbiadene, represent the hearth of our work and are divided in 6 different estates:
San Polo di Piave
Since Fifties is the family's estate.
Soil type: medium texture
Numbers of vines-hectare: 4.500
Cultivation and technique: Sylvoz
Grapes: Manzoni Bianco and Pinot nero
Notes: in the second part of Eighties, after an important zoning's research and 3 years of stop, the vineyards had been re-implanted with Sylvoz technique.
Navole'
Small outling suburb hamlet of Gorgo al Monticano, crossed by Livenza river.
Soil type: clayey
Numbers of vines-hectare: 4.500
Cultivation and technique: Cordone speronato and Sylvoz
Grapes: Raboso Piave
Notes: the particular microclimate guarantees a late grape harvest.
Basalghelle
Small outlying suburb hamlet of Mansuè.
Soil type: clayey
Numbers of vine-hectares: 4.000/5.000
Cultivation and techinique: Sylvoz and cordone speronato
Grapes: Manzoni Bianco, Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Tocai (Tai), Chardonnay, Prosecco
Notes: typical Venetian estate with inside the "barchessa" and a small votive capital.
Fontanelle
Vineyards located in Bosco zone.
Soil type: clayey
Numbers of vines-hectare: 4.000/5.000
Cultivation and technique: Sylvoz and cordone speronato
Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot ed i cloni 343, R12, R6, Pinot Nero, Pinot Grigio, Verduzzo, Raboso Piave, Chardonnay, Prosecco, Manzoni Bianco, Marzemino
Notes: The estate is crossed by limpid water of Albina canal.
Codroipo
Ex Duca Badoglio's estate, located in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Soil type: gravely
Numbers of vine-hectares: 4.500
Cultivation and technique: Guyot
Grapes: Refosco dal peduncolo rosso, Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Muller Thurgau
Notes: From SS13 Lignano-Venezia the vineyard's view is marvellous, also for Grave particular conformation of soil.
Valdobbiadene
This vineyard is located on the gentle and sunny hills of Santo Stefano in Valdobbiadene
Soil Type: clayey
Numbers of vines-hectare: 4.500
Cultivation and technique: Sylvoz
Grapes: Prosecco and Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze
Notes: This terraced vineyard is located 300 metres above sea level, and it's characterized by strong temperature ranges.
