Merlot
Merlot grape is a red grape coming from Bordeaux zone in France and its name is given by the special preference that the blackbird has for its berries. In Italy since Nineteenth Century is wide cultivated, primarily in Trentino Alto Adige, in Veneto and in Friulu Venezia Giulia. This grape loved cold soils with good humidity and our vineyards along Piave river are perfect for its maturation.
Merlot Doc Piave “Il Tralcetto” is aged 9 months in french wooden oak and it has an intense red colour with violet highlighs: the taste is warm and generous, easy to drink.
